Robert Curley

Curley, Robert J. "Bobby" CURLEY, ROBERT J. "BOBBY," 69, of Louisville, returned to his heavenly father Sunday, September 2, 2007 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was an avid golfer and U of L fan. He was retired from Engelhard Corp., and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Bobby was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Curley; parents, Jim and Mary A. Curley; brothers Jim, Jack, Mick and Billy Curley; sisters, Mary Helen, Gina Mae, Jean, Doris and Pat. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Judy Hartell Curley; sons, Tom (Karen), Scott (Debbie), Robbo (Micki) and Zip Curley; grandchildren, Andrew, Tyler, Katie, Elena, Emily and Aaron Curley; sisters, Catsy Pease, Carolyn Cassady, Margie Burke, Mary Lee Daub (Bobby), and Susie Robards (Billy); sister-in-law, Patsy Hettich (Jim); and several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Helen Catholic Church, 4005 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
