Gilland, Robert Owen "Archie" "Bob" View/Sign Guest Book Donate Now GILLAND, ROBERT OWEN "BOB" "ARCHIE", 72, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2008. He was a retired Jefferson County Police Officer, a member of the Jefferson County FOP Lodge #14, Masonic Robinson Lodge #266, Louisville Scottish Rite, life member of Marydale Men's Club, and a member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Nina "Snooks" Gilland; his sons, Robert Steven Gilland (Stephanie), John Ramsey (Jill), Jeff Ramsey (Lisa), Sonny Lee Jeffries (Debbie), Charles Ray Jeffries (Alisha); daughters, Pamela Hardin (Frank), Pamela Young (Kenny), Theresa Jeffries and Karen Gilland; 23 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be noon Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from noon 9 p.m. Wednesday.
