Robert Gordon

Robert A. Gordon, 83, husband to the late Ada Gordon, passed away on Sunday April 1, 2018 at Norton's Hosparus Center. He was born to the late Ernest and Flora (Pace) Gordon in Louisville on August 4, 1934. He was also preceded in death by his four siblings, George Gordon, Mary Pfeiffer, Evelyn Wilding, and Gilbert Gordon.
Robert retired, after 37 years as an electrician, from Louisville Gas & Electric. He was an avid fisherman and golfer, and he enjoyed playing cards with his friends in Alameda Isles Community in Englewood, Florida.
He is survived by his sons, Mike (Sandy), Douglas (Brenda), David, and Mark (Nussara) Gordon along with 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
A celebration of his life will be Thursday beginning at 6:30 pm Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 pm until time of service.
