Robert Hardesty

Hardesty, Robert E. HARDESTY, ROBERT E., 74, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 at his home. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a retired press operator for Metal Dynamics and a member of A.A. for 20+ years. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Rachel (Tyree) Hardesty; five children, Sharon Perlini, George Hardesty, Bryan "Jake" Hardesty, Beth Vaughn (Kent) and Laura Hardesty (Scott Farmer); two sisters, Marilyn Gail Seidl (Jim) and Judy Hall; five brothers, William L. Hardesty Jr. (Shirley), Donald Hardesty (David), Richard Hardesty ( Mary), Tommy Hardesty (Donna) and Jimmy Hardesty (Diane); and seven grandchildren, Trisha, Earl, Jeremy, Sydney, Molly, Andrew and Joseph. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday and 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
