JONES, ROBERT "EDSEL," 86, went home to be with his Lord, Saturday September 7, 2013 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He was born in Gray, KY to Robert L. and Delora (Baker) Jones. He was retired paint tinter at Valspar Chemical Co., where he worked for 34 years. He was a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church, a Mason and was a World War II Marine veteran. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Betty Louise (Hale) Jones; infant son, Ronnie Lee Jones; second wife, Juong Sue Jones; and a brother, J. B. Jones. Survivors include his wife, Ella Jo (Artman) Jones; two daughters: Wanda L. Kerr (David L.) and Delores Ann Smith; three grandchildren, Buddy Ray, Christina and Brian Smith; two great-grandchildren, Spencer and Cory; a brother, Curtis R. Jones (Phyllis); and a sister: Marcella (Helton) Dunaway (Frank). A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Memorial visitation will be Tuesday, 3-7 pm.
