LIVESAY, ROBERT F. "BUDDY," 88, of south Louisville, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Jewish Hospital with his family by his side.
He was a native of Middlesboro, KY, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired self-employed cabinet maker and also a member of American Legion of Kentucky Iroquois Post #229.
Survivors include his wife, the former Marjorie L. Kelly; daughters, Carolyn Koch, Vicky Hibbs (Guy), Cindy Wentworth (Doug) and Martha Nunnelley (Tookie); sons, Robert (Susan) and Kenneth Livesay; a sister, Iris Barnes; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life service is 11 a.m. Monday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Saturday and 2-7 p.m. Sunday.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the memorial fund of his American Legion Post, 800 West Woodlawn Ave., Louisville, KY 40215.
