Robert L. Parkerson Jr. PARKERSON, ROBERT L. JR., 65, of Louisville, died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Hosparus Inpatient Unit Norton Healthcare Pavilion.
He was a retired clerk for the U.S. Postal Service, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, a graduate of Atherton High School, and a member of Strathmoor Presbyterian Church, Progress Masonic Lodge #932, Suburban Masonic Lodge #740, York Rite, Scottish Rite, Kosair Shrine, American Legion Post #180-Zachary Taylor and the VFW Louisville Post-Goss Avenue.
He is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Strathmoor Presbyterian Church 2201 Hawthorne Avenue with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Hwy.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Home of the Innocents.
