RICKERT, ROBERT E. JR., 75, passed away June 29, 2012 at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church, retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co. after 29 years, and was a Circuit Court Clerk for 15 years, Navy veteran of Korea and a Kentucky Colonel.
He is predeceased by his mother, Margaret Mosser Rickert.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Yvonne Zipper; daughters, Sheila K. Rickert and Lisa M. Jackey; son, Brian R. Rickert (Sharon); four granddaughters, Jordan and Brittany Rickert, and Amber and Hayley Jackey; and sister, Barbara Hagan; survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass: Tuesday 10 a.m. at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation will be at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Monday 2-8 p.m.
Donations maybe made to St. Jude Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
