Robert L. Troutman III TROUTMAN, ROBERT L. III, 53, passed away at his residence Monday evening, March 15, 2010.
He was born in Louisville, to Robert L. and Sarah Jane (Vertrees) Troutman Jr. They both preceded him in death.
He was a self-employed auto technician and race car driver, was a member of the NHRA and was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his son, Daniel Tuchscherer; a grandson, Daniel Tuchscherer Jr.; two brothers, "Hot Rod" Troutman and Tim Troutman; two sisters, Virginia "Sissy" Maki (Greggory) and Sherry Armstrong; his "life partner" Meghan McCormick; "special friend" Bobby-O; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will 1 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday before services.
