Whitener, Robert "Big Bob" View/Sign Guest Book WHITENER, ROBERT "BIG BOB," 68, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the Norton Hospital. He was a retired union stewart for Cissell Mfg. Co. and a member of International Association of Machinists Local Lodge 681. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen (Carrier) Whitener; four daughters, Bobbie Jo Hollar, Connie L. Lukat, Kimberly A. Daily and Brenda Miles; one son, Daniel E. Whitener; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Schoppenhorst Brothers Funeral Home, 1832 West Market St., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
