Robin Prickett

Robin Lavon (Jekel) Prickett PRICKETT, ROBIN LAVON (JEKEL), 46, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010 She was a driving instructor for Cheek's Driving School.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Prickett Sr.; son, Robbie "Robo" Prickett Jr.; mother, Sandra Green (Mike); father, William Jekel (Wanda); "adopted" children, Matthew Roberts and Jan Lepage; grandchildren, Patrick, Bryson, Ethan and Kourtney; brothers, William Jekel Jr. (Patty) and Ralph Jekel (Sheryl); stepbrother, Bobby Arnold (Cindy); stepsister, Sherry Hale (Jimmy); niece, Tiffany Jekel; and many other loving family members.
Robin was a strong, giving and loving woman whose doors were always open for those who needed a place to sleep, a bite to eat or just an encouraging word. She will be deeply missed by the many who loved her.
Her service is 1 p.m. Monday, Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is noon-9 p.m. Sunday, after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
