Rodney Middleton Sr

Middleton, Rodney Allen Sr.,62, passed away Sunday August 9, 2015 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. Rodney was a retired Major with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, with over 28 years of service. He was a member of the FOP Lodge # 16, the Kentucky Sheriff's Association and the National Sheriff's Association.He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Carolyn "Sue"; children, Rodney A. Middleton Jr., David L. Middleton and Stephanie M. Middleton; step-children, Wendy M. Fruechtenicht and Timothy S. Fruechtenicht; sister Debbie Middleton; three granddaughters; one grandson; two step-grandsons; and one great-step-grandson. His funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
