He was retired from G.E. Appliance Park.
He is survived by his sons, Ronald E. Jr. and Matthew Rupe; daughter, Melissa K. Rupe; sister, Sandra Rhea; grandchildren, Shelby and Katie Herchenrader, Alexa Rupe and Alyssa Rupe.
Funeral is 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2009 at Keenan's Funeal Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy. (at Rockford Ln.), with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday.
