Rose Sipes

Rose Marie Sipes, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022.  She was born on August 2, 1945, to the late Raymond John and Betsy Pearl (Greer) Rusch in Louisville, Kentucky.

Preceding Rose in death was her loving husband of 55 years, James L. Sipes in 2020.

Left to cherish the memories of Rose’s life is her children, John Sipes (Deborah), Chris Sipes (Glory), Brian Sipes (Stephanie), Deanna Conn (Dave), and Miranda Mattingly (Joey); her grandchildren, Clarissa (Micah), Christopher, Corey, Gregory, Mason (Olivia), Mackenzie, Madison, Silas, Meredith and Selah; and her cherished great grandchildren, Gabriel, Zane, Lucas and Emarie.

Rose was a loving wife and mother and took great care in raising her family, always having a hot meal and dessert on the table for dinner.  She was a very talented baker and could cook almost anything wonderfully.  She loved to crochet, garden, take long walks and water ski.  Music played a big part in Rose’s life, she loved to sing, dance and play guitar.  Rose most certainly loved the Lord.

A Celebration of Rose’s Life will be held at 4PM on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Life Church Louisville, 4413 East Pages Lane.  Inurnment will be private at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery West.
