HAFLING, ROY WILLIAM, 75, passed away Sunday March 17, 2013 at his home.
He retired after 30 years as an engineer for Naval Ordnance a Air Force veteran during the Vietnam era and Catholic by faith.
He enjoyed skeet shooting and arrowhead hunting. He is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Lee (Tabler). He is survived by his son Arthur "Art" Hafling (Denise) and daughter Carol Kaelin; five grandchildren, Stuart, Chase, Taylor, Cody and Alyssal; four great-grandchildren; and brother Norvin "Dale" Hafling.
His funeral will be noon Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. until funeral on Friday.
In lieu of flowers expressions may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
