Kessinger, Roy Lee View/Sign Guest Book KESSINGER, ROY LEE, 84, formerly of Louisville, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008 in Greenville, IN. He was a native of Larue County, KY, a retired gauge inspector for International Harvester, an Army veteran of World War II, and a longtime former member of Hazelwood Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, Sunday school superintendent and a member of the choir. He also was a founder and member of Greenville New Hope Baptist Church, Greenville. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, the former Evelyn Walden; sons, Randy and Roy Jr. Kessinger; daughters, Sharon Wood and Becky Ballard (Nick); brothers, Otis and William Kessinger; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2 -8 p.m. Thursday.
