Ruby Ford

FORD, RUBY, 81, of Louisville, went to be with her Heavenly father on Friday June 3, 2011 at Meadow View Health Care Center.

Born in Bee Springs, Grayson County, she was the former Ruby Whobrey. She was a homemaker, a retired beauty salon receptionist and a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rue L. Ford Jr.

She is survived by her children, Debbie Wurtele (Rodney), Rick Ford (Darlene) and Doug Ford (Cathi); her grandchildren, Jeremy M. Goodwin, Jason S. Ford, Jordan S. Ford, and Ethan D. Ford; great-grandchildren, Hayley A. Goodwin, Dustin M. Goodwin, Tyler C. Ford, Mason H. Ford, and Kami N. Ford; and one brother, Leon Whobrey.

Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday June 7, 2011 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
