LANE, RUBY K., 93, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010.
She was the former Ruby Sale, a native of Anderson County, KY. She was a homemaker and caregiver for her husband and family. Ruby was also an avid gardener and she participated in numerous social activities and loved to play cards with friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lane; and daughter-in-law, Phyllis Lane.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Bruce K. and Ronald E. (Bonnie) Lane; grandchildren, Danny Lane (Karen), Brent Lane (Sherry), Paul Lane (Sharon), Christopher Lane, Theresa Phillips (Shawn) and Vincent Lane (Emily); and great grandchildren, C.J., Nathan, Emily and Sarah Lane, Hannah, Jonah and Elijah Phillips and Leo and Guinnevere Lane.
Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Ratterman & Sons Chapel, 3800 Bardstown Road, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will also be at Ratterman and Sons from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , the Presbyterian Homes and Services of Kentucky or to Hosparus of Louisville.
