Ruby Potts

Potts, Ruby Mae (Wilson),92, passed away Tuesday September 1, 2015.She was born May 24, 1923 to Jess and Lou Etta Wilson. Originally from Owensboro, KY, she was a longtime resident of PRP, a member of PRP United Methodist Church and a former volunteer for SW Community Ministries Dare to Care Program. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Leonard; and her brothers, Forrest Lee, Delbert, J.W. and Cecil.She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Weatherly (Jim) and Dana Potts-Ford (Bob); her grandchildren, Jamie Baxter (Mike), Rob Weatherly (Tracy), Laura and Dallas Ford; six great-grandchildren; her brother, Roy Wilson (Pat) of Owensboro; her sisters, Thelma Thomas of Mitchell, IN, Cathryn Durbin of Owensboro; and many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home with the funeral Friday, 1 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
