HARDIN, RUDOLPH "TUCKER" SR., 83, passed away June 26, 2011 at University Hospital.
He was a member of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church, retired driver for Kentucky Transport and a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert W. Hardin; and a grandson, Jeffrey N. Hardin.
Survived by his wife of 59 years, Marion (Schofner) Hardin; and three sons, Rudolph "Rudy" Hardin Jr., Charles "Skinner" Hardin (Lana) and Carl "Tony" Hardin; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service is Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation is Tuesday from 2-8 p.m.
