ESTES, RUSSELL L., 76, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Rockford Manor Health & Rehab Center.
He was born in Lewisport, KY to Kelly and Lillie (Willett) Estes. He was a retired truck driver with Chevron USA with 35 years service and was an US Army veteran. Russell was a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Carol (Harris) Estes; his children, Dewayne Estes (Kelly), Laura Mooser (Dan), and Derek Estes (Nancy); eight grandchildren; two brothers, W.C. and Sam Estes (Kathy); a sister, Edna Bruce (Larry) and a sister-in-law, Pam Estes.
Funeral service will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-8 p.m. and Monday from 1-8 p.m.
