HYPES, RUSSELL C., 78, of Louisville, passed away Monday at his residence.
He was a retired mechanic from Phillip Morris and a Korean War veteran.
He is survived by his sons; Rusty (Mary) and David (Vickey) Hypes, daughter, Missy Wislocki (Michael); grandchildren, Aaron, Ashley, Clifford, Sarah, Bill, Jake and Luke; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Camryn and LeAnna.
Russell's visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. His funeral service will be 5 p.m. Thursday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home 7710 Dixie Hwy. Interment will be private at Louisville Memorial Gardens on Friday.
The family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 6100 Dutchman's Ln. Louisville, KY, 40205.
