Cardin, Ruth L. View/Sign Guest Book CARDIN, RUTH L., 93, of south Louisville passed away Monday, May 19, 2008 at Park Terrace at Norton Southwest. She was the former Ruth Doll, a retired library assistant for Jefferson County Public Schools and also from the gift shop at the old Louisville Standiford Field. She was a member of Beechland Baptist Church for over 60 years. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Doll. Survivors include three daughters, Janet Cardin Baker (Mike), Jacqueline Cardin Armstrong and Susan Cardin Sharp; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd. with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation after noon Thursday.
