GENTRY, RUTH, 96, of Louisville, passed away Frida, December 7, 2012 at Baptist Hospital North East.
She was a retired food service worker for Crum's Lane Elementary and a member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gentry Sr. and a son, Kevin Gentry.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Brown (Butch); sons, Roy Gentry Jr. (Pam) and Dale Gentry (Brenda); 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The family gratefully acknowledges Peggy Parsons and Cindy Cummings and everyone at The Oak's.
Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. Interment will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 3-8 p.m. and noon until service time on Tuesday.
