Ruth Jackson

Jackson, Ruth Laverne,78, of Louisville, passed away Friday October 23, 2015 at the Forum at Brookside with her family by her side. She was a member of Shively Christian Church, a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ruth Fischer. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years; Charles B. Jackson Sr., children; Charles B. Jackson Jr. (Cathy), Regina R. Salahuddin (Akbar), David B. Jackson (Stephanie); seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Ruth's funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday October 27th, 2015 at Ratterman Funeral Home 12900 Shelbyville Rd. East Louisville, KY, 40243. Visitation will be 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
