Sally Kiefer

Kiefer, Sally Mae (Bratcher) KIEFER, SALLY MAE (BRATCHER), 82, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was a native of Caneyville, KY and a member of St. Polycarp Catholic Church. Cooking and gardening were her passions. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Ray Kiefer. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Nicholas Kiefer; daughter, Lynne Cockerel (James) and son, Robert Kiefer (Regina); grandchildren, Carrie Peterson, Chris Cockerel, Rebecca Kiefer and Victoria Kiefer; step-grandchildren, Kimberly and Edward Burkhead; great-grandchildren, Mac and Kamron Peterson and Jaden and Jonah Cockerel; and daughter-in-law, Michelle Ulmer Kiefer. Her service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at St. Polycarp Catholic Church, 7718 Columbine Dr., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be 1p.m.-9 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Published in The Courier-Journal on 5/5/2007.
