Sandra Elaine Trusty

Sandra Elaine (Sanchez) Trusty, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on February 13th, 2023.  Sandi was born on January 3rd, 1955, to the late Gerald and Ofelia (Conde) Sanchez, Sr., in El Paso, Texas.

Sandi had her Associates Degree and worked for many years as an office manager for a dental practice.  She was an avid shopper and had an amazing love for dogs.  Sandi was extremely artistic and was very skilled at painting and ceramics, she even sold handmade items to businesses.  She had a beautiful rose garden that she tended to for years and took pride in.  Sandi was a very strong woman and rose above many obstacles in her life.  Sandi spent 50 years of marriage with the love of her life, George Trusty, Jr., and they raised their daughter, Amber, in a home full of love.  Sandi loved to love and excelled at it, loving her family with her entire heart, leaving no doubt of her affection for them.  She was an amazing wife and mother and she will be missed by all that knew her.

Preceding Sandi in death was her parents; her father in law, George Trusty, Sr.; and her sister, Rebecca Ruiz.

Left behind to cherish the love that Sandi gave is her husband of 50 years, George Trusty, Jr.; her daughter, Amber Burnett (Troy); her brother, Gerald Sanchez, Jr.; her two sisters, Irene Martinez and Alice Garibay; her mother in law, Patricia Trusty; her three sister in law's, Sandra Hale, Donna Lepping and Debrah Berry; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A memorial service to celebrate Sandi's life will be held at a later date.
