Smiley Jr., Sanford L. "Sandy" View/Sign Guest Book SMILEY, SANFORD "SANDY" L., JR., 56, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He worked for Greenwood Liquors, was a craftsman by trade, and also worked several years for Valley Fence Company. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Smiley, Sr.; and nephew, Robert Smiley, Jr. Sandy is survived by his wife, Betty Smiley; son, Lou Smiley; sister, Debra Souther (Dennis); several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and friends. His funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday until service.
