SCOTT, SARA JEAN (WEBB), 79, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Hurstbourne Care Center.
She was born in Louisville to James Norman Webb and Mary Louise (Hughes) Grunloh.
Sara was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Alice Waller P.T.A. and was an active booster of the Doss and PRP High School bands.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Ernest Eugene Scott, her Parents, and a brother: Norman Hughes Webb.
Survivors include her children, Leslie Eugene Scott (Sandy), Larry Scott (Shelli) and Janet Vessels (Larry); six grandchildren; and her caregiver for eight years, Emma Tingle.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 10-11 a.m. on Friday.
