Stone, Sarah Velma View/Sign Guest Book STONE, SARAH VELMA, 101, of South Louisville, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 at her residence. She was the former Sarah Holton and a native of Cave City, KY. She was a retired operator for the old Bell Telephone Company where she worked for over 40 years, and was also a member of New Cut Road Baptist Church. Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 1994. Survivors include nephews, Alvis, Bobby, Jack, David and Leland Holton, Bert Rynearson, Earl Dean, Clifford and Don Martin and Dan Gault Sr; nieces, Roberta James, Joyce Jenkins, Jannine Miller, Emma Jean Rowe and Margaret Hatfield. A joint service for Mrs. Stone and her great-nephew, Joseph Daniel Gault Jr., will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., with her burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday.
