Shirley Irene Newton Heistand HEISTAND, SHIRLEY IRENE NEWTON, 72, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Golden Living Camelot Health Care.
A native of Springfield, she was a retired maintenance operator for the Jefferson County Public School system, and a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Malcolm Eugene Heistand (Jennifer) and Donald Lee Heistand; three brothers, Lonzie, Bill and John Newton; two grandchildren, Kymberly and Kevin; two stepgrandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
