Shirley McCauley

McCAULEY, SHIRLEY T. "THE MOM," 77, passed to her loving Father, August 10, 2013. She was a native of Rhode Island, who has resided in Louisville with her husband Robert E. McCauley for the past 55 years. She retired from Brown and Foreman Distilleries after 24 years of service. She was a 35 year member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, an active member of VFW Post 1181, and the American Legion Post 220. She loved to dance with her husband and play her organ to the sounds of the forties and fifties. She raised and nurtured three children, Barbara Ann Schrader, Bobby Joe McCauley and Brenda Sue Kern. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert E McCauley; one brother, Joseph Dailey (R.I); and one sister, Eleanor Runyan (VA.). She was blessed with six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a multitude of loving friends and neighbors. She will be missed and our memories of her not forgotten. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy. at Rockford Lane. The funeral Mass will be on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Interment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
