Shirley Slavey

Shirley M. Slavey, 81, wife to the late James R. Slavey, passed away on Wednesday December 30, 2020, at Norton Audubon Hospital.

She was born on November 8, 1939 in Louisville to the late Joseph and Gladys (Woolum) Kiefer.  She is also preceded in death by an infant son, James Richard Slavey and a sister JoAnn Kiefer.

Shirley enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and loved going to the Shepherdsville country music show every Saturday night.

She is survived by her daughter, Jena Marie Bain (Mark), her son, Michael “Mike” Slavey, along with grandchildren, Hannah Nadine Slavey, Kristin Cooper, and Mark Ryan, Christopher Bain, Jenna Bain, and great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Marley, Jonah, Lexi, Lilly, Gabby and Serena.

Due to Covid restrictions masks are required to be worn during visitation and service and social distancing is expected.
