Shirley White

White, Shirley Ann Higdon View/Sign Guest Book WHITE, SHIRLEY ANN HIGDON, 69, formerly of Louisville, passed away July 11, 2007 in Lakeland, FL after a long illness. She was a native of Fairdale, KY and a 1957 graduate of Southern High School. She and her husband Joe were involved in the Christian Ministry for many years in Israel, England, Sierra Leone and various locations in the United States. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Joe T. White, of Lakeland; three children, Brian White (Sitka) and Debbie Perez, both of Lakeland, and Vicki Bell (Gene) of Bluffton, IN; mother, Sudie Belle Higdon, of Louisville; three sisters, Carolyn Donahue, Twila Queener and Elaine Metaxas, all of Louisville; 10 grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
