Vinson, Silas Mackie "Mac" View/Sign Guest Book VINSON, SILAS MACKIE "MAC, " 70, of Zoneton, KY, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008 at his home. He was a native of Decatur, AL and a retired employee of Armour Foods, where he had 30 years of service. He was a devoted employee of Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona and the Central Care Center, where he had 19 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife whom he celebrated 50 years of loving marriage on February 11, 2008, the former Jackie Flanagan; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and John Speed and Kathy and Mark Meredith; sisters, Sarah Dunbar (Brad), Mildred Oakes and Ola Edsel; brother, J.R. Vinson; five grandchildren, Whitney, Vinson, Lauren, Jacob and Donnie; and great-grandchildren, Kaydince and Brayden; His funeral service will be Monday at noon at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday. Expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital or Juvenile Diabetes Association.
