Stanley Wade Boyd "Stan" Share E-mail Visit Guest Book BOYD, STANLEY WADE "STAN," 61, of Louisville passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Jewish Medical Center Southwest.
A native of Fayetteville, TN he was an Army veteran of Vietnam, retired from Phillip Morris and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. He was the party leader at Fort Knox, a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, and a avid gun collector.
He is survived by his loving wife Jamie (Yates) Boyd; children, Tammie Puckett (Mike), Bryan Turner (Reva) and Blake Turner; three granddaughters, Andi Puckett, Brandi Mills (Ricky) and Shelbie McKinney; one great-granddaughter, Jewell Mills; and four sisters, Sandra Smith (Sonny), Willa Boyd, Wilma Smith and Shelia Schildknecht.
His funeral will be Wednesday, 1 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: Tuesday, 1 1a.m. to 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
