Stephen Clark

Clark, Stephen D. View/Sign Guest Book CLARK, STEPHEN D., 89, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2008. Born in Louisville, he was the son of the late Stephen W. and Louise Clark. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church. He had served in the U.S. Coast Guard and enjoyed 27 years of retirement from Ford Motor Co. He was a member of the Jefferson County Sportsmen Club, former member of the Ironworkers' Union and was an avid sportsman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther (Giesel) Clark. He is survived by his children, Stephen R. Clark, Margaret Louise Thompson (Stan), Andrew David Clark (Judi Timmel) and Deborah Ann Clark; grandchildren, Nikki Troxle (Jason) and Meredith Thompson; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Duncan Troxle; and his loving companion, Jeanne Lee. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Helen Catholic Church, 4005 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association. Published in The Courier-Journal on 3/17/2008.
