Steven Genslinger Sr

Genslinger, Steven C. Sr.,71, died August 19, 2015 of injuries received in a motorcycle accident in June.He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a KY Colonel and a American Legion Shawnee Post.Preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mayme Genslinger; a brother, Larry, and his daughter, Dawn Elizabeth.Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Carolyn; his sons, Stevie Jr. (Tina) and Jimmy; his grandchildren, Dax Raney, Mike Langdon, Lisa, Whitney, Perry, and his Texas Tornadoes, Steven III and Seth Genslinger; six great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
