Sylvester Wise

Stoy Sylvester "Shim" Wise WISE, STOY SYLVESTER "SHIM," 91 of Mt. Washington, KY, passed away Saturday March 20, 2010 at Baptist Hospital East.
He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a Retired employee of the Old Intl Harvester. Shim loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was from a loving family of 11 children.
He was preceded in death by his son, Harold Wise.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, the former Mildred Hines; daughter, Joyce Fentress; son, Johnny Wise; brothers, Eugene and William Wise; sister, Evelyn Greenwell; grandson, Mike Wise (Dawn); granddaughters, Teresa Browning and Melissa Peak (Steve); great-grandchildren, Brandon and Keny Beth Fentress, Bryan, Steven and Alyssa Peak, Jordan Wise and Cody and Cassie Browning; and one great-great-grandson.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bethel United Methodist Church, 7357 Hwy 44 East, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Monday from 3-8 p.m. at Schmid Funeral Home, Mt. Washington, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church
