-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Terri Lee Hamlet HAMLET, TERRI LEE, 53, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2009, at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was born May 1, 1955, to the late Robert and Maude Moppin Hamlet. She graduated from Jefferson Community College as a Register Nurse. She had worked for Clark Memorial Hospital, and was currently with Home of the Innocents, where she cared for the many special needs children. She was proud of each child and often spoke of her love of them. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, reading and scrapbooking, the movies Father of the Bride and Father of the Bride 2 always ranked up there with her life long favorite, To Kill A Mockingbird. She loved anything pertaining to Disney's Lilo & Stitch and had recently taken up the challenge of learning to knit and quilt. She is survived by her loving daughter, Amy and her husband, James Hamlet; and her sister, Joanie Williams. The love of her life was her adoring grandson, Sebastian Hamlet. Her two step-brothers, Bennie and Randy Joe Hamlet, also survive. A service to celebrate Terri's life will be held noon Thursday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday.
