Terry Dean Herndon Share E-mail Visit Guest Book HERNDON, TERRY DEAN, 60, of Shepherdsville, KY, died Sunday, July 19, 2009.
Born in Roanoke, VA, he lived in the Louisville area since 1972. Mr. Herndon was a machinist with the Double Envelope company for over 27 years and more recently was a part of The Geek Squad with Best Buy. He served in the United States Army and enjoyed NASCAR.
Mr. Herndon was preceded in death by his parents, Mabel and Doak Herndon; and brother, Craig Herndon.
Surviving family includes wife, Carolyn; brothers, Carl Herndon (Helen), Jerry Herndon (Pat), Doak Herndon (Carolyn Hayne) and Dan Herndon (Marissa); sisters, Sherry Carver (Bill), Connie Poff (Gary), Helen Bates, Kelly Tolman (Bert), Kim Harlow (Troy) and Christian Elswich; sons, Terry Dean Herndon (Jerri) and Patrick Herndon (Julie); granddaughter, Reagon Herndon; grandson, Alex Cundiff.
A service celebrating his life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. (502-447-4220), with Rev. Danny Ray Hess officiating. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens with full military honors provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Middletown Post #1170. Family and friends may visit 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
