Thelma Carfield

CARFIELD, THELMA YOUNG, 94, of Middletown, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Good Samaritan Village, in Jeffersontown. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Middletown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Carfield; two sons, Henry Jr. and Julius Carfield; and her daughter, Julia Leet. She is survived by her son, James T. Carfield; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Stoess Funeral Home, in Crestwood, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be held 3-8 p.m. Sunday.
