SIMPSON, THELMA M. OGLESBY, 58, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009. She was a former employee at General Electric Co. Survivors are her husband, Douglas H. Simpson Sr; daughter, Valerie Jones (Kevin); stepchildren, Debra Walden and Douglas Simpson Jr; sister, Jacqueline Oglesby; grandchild, Destiny Newton; great-grandchild, Malia Calhoun; five stepgrandchildren; niece and nephew, Michelle and Eric Oglesby; and other relatives and friends. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, G.C. Williams Funeral Home. Burial: Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation: 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
