Theresa Barmore

BARMORE, THERESA "TRESA" "MARIE," 87, of Louisville passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Norton Audubon Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Lourdes J. Barmore. She is survived by her children, Donna M. Schwartz (John), Joyce A. Welsh, Stephen W. (Theresa), Paul J. (Anita), Charlotte K. Birch (Pat), Robert A. and Larry T. Barmore, Linda Lush (Kevin) and Terri L. Higgason (Bruce); sister, Anna Mae Murphy; 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Madeline Irvin, her wonderful primary caregiver for over six years. You have a sweet soul and you will hold a special place in our hearts. Also, to all of her caregivers who provided the tender loving care to our dear mom. A Mass to celebrate Mrs. Barmore's life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 747 Harrison Ave., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, with a prayer vigil at 6:30 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Mattingly Center, 1520 Baxter Ave.
