Theta Pipes PIPES, THETA, 89, passed away Thursday, Jan 21, 2010 at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by family.
She was retired from Sears, a member of the Beechmont and Arcade Senior Citizens clubs and Portland Avenue Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by, Edward L. Herdt Sr.; a son, Edward L. Herdt Jr. and the love of her life, Chester Pipes.
She is survived by daughters, Sue Ann Browning (L.W.) and Jo Ann Weinberger (Larry); a son, John Herdt (Barbara); five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral ceremony: 11 a.m. Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West at 1 p.m. Monday. Visitation: noon-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, .
