BLANKENSHIP, THOMAS G. JR., 69, went home to be with his Savior, Jesus on Thursday, December 23, 2010.
He was retired from Brown Foreman and Jim Beam, a member of River City Classic Chevy Club and an active member of Evangel World Prayer Center. He was a loving husband and devoted father.
He is survived by his wife, the former Joyce "Jo" Taylor; children, Traci Beeby (Dave), Mary Carol Miller (Bruce) and Tom Blankenship, III (Linda); mother, Louise Halsey; five grandchildren; brothers, Bill and Donald Blankenship, and Buddy and Jimmy Mattingly; and sister, Linda Bullock.
His funeral is 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, with private burial. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday.
