Thomas Hayes

Thomas Elwood Hayes, 92, husband to the late Edith Hayes, passed away on Saturday September 5, 2020 at home surrounded by family.

He was born to the late Marion T. and Lula (Bratcher) Hayes in Grayson County, Kentucky on March 27, 1928.  He is also preceded in death by a son Larry Hayes, daughter in law Betty Hayes, son in law Ronald Nichols, brother Wilbur Hayes, and two sisters in law Avis and Dolly Hayes.

Thomas was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather.   He was a self- employed satellite technician and loved fishing and woodworking.

He is survived by his children, Janis Pace (Bob), Lonnie Hayes, Shirley Nichols, and Debra Logsdon (Hershel) along with a brother, Bobby Hayes.  He will also be missed by his 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
