HOLZKNECHT, THOMAS EDWARD, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012.

He was a retired past president of the Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 110 and the Retirees Club an official for KHSAA and a U.S. Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; sons, Terry and Carl; brother, Michael; sister, Carmen Walker; grandson, Tony; and four great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be Thursday at noon at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
