Thomas Shannon "Tom" Share E-mail Visit Guest Book SHANNON THOMAS "TOM," 53, passed away Saturday July 25, 2009.
He graduated from Butler High School and worked for 15 years for Johnson Controls and was formerly a self employed carpenter.
Preceded in death by his sister, Theresa.
Survived by "The love of his life" for the past 17 years, Linda Wise, who, with his sister, Sheila, cared for Tom. He is also survived by his parents, Audrey and Hubert Shannon; two children, Christine and T.J.; grandchild, Alexis; brothers, Matthew and Michael; sister, Sheila McElyea; and many caring nieces and nephews, especially Taylor.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Family and friends may visit 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
A special thanks to Drs. Roger and Jeff Herzl and the entire staff at Graham Brown Cancer Center.
