Tilford Cobb

COBB, TILFORD C., 84, of Louisville, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008. He was a retired truck driver for the old Motor Convoy and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, LaGrange. Mr. Cobb is survived by his wife, Frances A. Cobb; sons, Michael Cobb (Sissy) and Layman Cobb (Paula); daughter, Jealemma McMillan; stepchildren, Leslie Reed (Keith), Geralyn Ashley (Doug), Ellen Moss (Steve), Thomas Savchick (Robin) and Christopher Savchick (Beth); brother, Chester Cobb; sister, Irene Gwinn; his mother-in-law, Eleanor Underwood; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at his church, with interment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be held 3-8 p.m. at Heady Radcliffe, LaGrange, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorial gifts may be given to his church or Mass of the Air.
